Though tired, stiff and achey from my one day at Habitat, I biked today. Looks like the rain is going to stay away.... I hope.

Joyride!

Lots of weekend work on Joyride - added synodic periods, escape velocities for all the planets, shift GLOW to payload, "classic" ship weights. Tightened the linkage between
Crew<->Mass<->Ships<->Orbits.

I need to write a manual now, discalaimers and update the web page.

AND.... I biked to work this morning.

Go Solar!

Woke up ... seemed light out, and the alarm clock was *BLANK*!

Power was out - probably for about 5 hours. Quickly scrambled to wake Liv and Norris. Liv got to the bus on time, even! Power came back on around 7:30, and I got to work around one hour late ... BIKING, of course!

Another day, another bike ride. Yesterday I went BOTH ways, not cheating my way home on the bus. No Joyride progress last night

Some weekend work on the Joyride project. I'm adding a menu with the mass of various well known spacecraft, crewed and not.

A good weekend to work on moving to another planet... or at least leaving this one for a while

Looking at and for Solar Sail web sites, it seems that the Sailaway project has vanished. It would be great if we could see more solar sail work...

Sailed on to work again on my bike does that count as solar sailing? I'm the energy source, and I'm powered by food, and food is... grown by the sun, yes?
